Hi,

I.m the new person in this forum. I have a big problem with Twain drivers in windows. We have been developing an activex application. It will work on windows xp, but in windows 7 it will not work. The activex will execute but it says "Can not communicate with scanner or the scanner has been unpluged". like this error will appear. We searched in google also, we couldn't find any solutions for this problem. We have been using the vb6 to create the activex.

Please let us know, is your Windows 7 64 bit or 32 bit?

if you still can not find an ideal twain scanning driver, i can give you some advices. i think the twain scanning driver in this imaging sdk is good to use , i have used it for months and it is designed for the users who want to capture digital images with a TWAIN (32 and 64 bit) device driver, including digital camera, scanners, video capture boards. i think it can meet your need. i suggest you to have a try , ggod luck.
